We are driving home from the school pick-up when a beautiful yellow corvette zooms in front of us:
6 year old: Mom, what is that car in front of us?
Mom: It's a Corvette.
6-year old: It is so cool. I love it. It is so cool-lookin'.
Mom: Yep...(said non-committally, thinking of other things)
6-year old: i want a Fordette when I get older. That's the kind of car I want.
Mom: (Mom perks up and smiles) I hope that you get a Fordette too.
